Tony Robbins Philanthropy

Anthony “Tony” Robbins, born on February 29th 1960 in California, is known in America as a self help author and speaker who coaches world leaders, business individuals and even sports professionals. He is also known for holding lively motivational seminars. Internationally, he is known for appearing in various infomercials, talk shows, TV interviews and radio programs. He has also appeared as himself in a Hollywood romantic comedy starring Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow, Shallow Hal.

As an active philanthropist, Tony Robbins formed his own charity called the Anthony Robbins Foundation. It started out as a campaign to give away bags of groceries anonymously to poverty stricken homes every year at Thanksgiving Day. Through the years, it has improved and now serves over 500,000 individuals each year all over the world. His philanthropic organization performs such deeds particularly during the holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year. What Tony Robbins’ foundation also does is inspire, educate and train those who are deprived financially and emotionally in the society.

Writing inspirational books is his other way of helping other people. In fact, he has created book and audio programs titled Awaken the Giant Within, which motivates readers and listeners in controlling their physical, financial and emotional health; and Unlimited Power, which aims to make people trust in themselves in overcoming fears.
