  • Peter Lewis has given millions to higher education. He gave $37 million to the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. His gifts to Princeton, his alma mater, are well over $233 million.
  • Invests in people with clear, creative, courageous visions that produce results. Lewis’ reputation is that he insists on the organizations to which he donates be both financially accountable and sound.
  • Lewis is a major arts patron. Among the many things he has done for the art world include: creating and supporting the Cleveland Center for the Contemporary Art, donating $50 million to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and donating $1 million to Princeton for a contemporary gallery at the Princeton Art Museum.
