Catherine B. Reynolds Philanthropy

Catherine Reynolds sits at the helm of EduCap, Inc., the revolutionary student lending company. Catherine Reynolds helped develop the private education loans market and has been indirectly responsible for sending more Americans to college.

Catherine Reynolds is the first person to develop supplementary structures to educational loans that are backed by private funds. She has also pioneered a reasonably-priced loan origination system among other programs to refine the state of education.

Because of these unheard-of strategies in the student loan industry, Reynolds redeemed the company from bankruptcy and transformed it into an industry leader offering over 200 financial products.

Now with $600 million to her name, Catherine Reynolds has been donating for philanthropic causes. Eventually, Business Week took notice and listed her one of the fifty most generous Americans ever.

  • Her philanthropic endeavors operate under the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation. True to form, it wants citizenry to have greater access to education more than anything.
  • The Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation handed out nine-figure sums to organizations affiliated with culture and the arts, most notably the National Gallery of Art and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. No less than President George W. Bush applauded her for donating $100 million to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
